Lunar New Year in Las Vegas: Lucky Meals and Stylish Deals

Celebrate new beginnings this Lunar New Year with lucky meals and stylish deals! I began my festivities at The Forum Shops in Las Vegas, where I ate traditional foods that bring good fortune and a full belly. I also uncovered incredible offers from some of my favorite brands. May I add that some of these amazing surprises were neatly wrapped in beautiful envelopes?

Chinese New Year is among the most important festivals in China and many East Asian countries. When I was younger, I always looked forward to receiving red envelopes from my older family members. Why? It is filled with money! You can imagine how excited I was to receive them at The Forum Shops. This bright red paper symbolizes good luck and prosperity for the year ahead.

If you want to have a RAWR-ing good time welcoming the Year of the Tiger, keep scrolling. This world-renowned retail destination has everything you need to elevate your holiday experience, from the incredible dazzling dragon display, red fashion statement pieces to unique retail offerings.

Lunar New Year Looks

For those looking for Chinese New Year outfits, be sure to head over to Salvatore Ferragamo. They have collaborated with Chinese artists Sun Yuan and Peng Yu to create a unique Tiger print, integrated into iconic accessories such as the Studio Box Bag and Trifolio Top Handle.

Of course, I couldn't leave the store without pairing these gorgeous bags with chic yet festive outfits. The bright red Nappa Bomber jacket is a must-have this season. The silk shirt and leather skirt pairing exude sweetness and sophistication, while the black blazer and pants combo emulates 2022’s Chinese Zodiac sign: confident and brave.

HUGO BOSS has fantastic Year of the Tiger collections for men, including many bold looks in traditional tones of black and red with Chinese-inspired designs. Also, you don't want to miss their stunning red envelopes! From February 7th-20th, 2022, shoppers will receive 15% off their purchase.

A few noteworthy stores are A/X Armani Exchange (20% off purchase of $500 or more) and Brooks Brothers (15% off purchase of $100 or more). Both have great Lunar New Year shirts, jackets, and hoodies for men and women – and some great promotions too!

To complete your Chinese New Year looks, be sure to stop by Sephora for some bright red and gold shimmery eyeshadow.

Chinese New Year Gifts

If you're ready to go wild on presents, you have to go to MCM! They have THE cutest collection of accessories for the Lunar New Year. From Tiger crossbody bags to red Viseto Slides, I'm sure you'll find nice little surprise gifts for your loved ones. The best part? You can receive 10% off any one item.

My favorite is the Toni Shopper in New Year Tiger Visetos bag. It's charming yet so fierce. I've been wearing it every day since I got one – it's too adorable to leave at home!

Longchamp also has beautiful accessories such as everyday purses, travel bags, and small leather goods. I was definitely eyeing the yellow-gold shoulder bag with a silk red scarf!

Shoppers can enjoy an additional 10% off any purchase of $500 or more during the Lunar New Year.

Another great store to find gifts is Pandora. They offer gold jewelry or charms that are perfect for your significant other.

Lucky Foods to Eat

This holiday wouldn't be complete without lucky Chinese New Year foods! As if you needed another reason to go to Water Grill, the Lunar New Year menu items will bring good luck and prosperity. The Garlic Noodles with Jumbo Lump Crab is full of flavor, the Wok-Fried Lobster with Veggies are deliciously messy, and Shrimp Shumai with crispy chili sauce is just oh-so heavenly. I even took some home so my fiance could try it. Yum!
