Big Bear Lake: Wandering Through the Cougar Crest Trail

Enjoy wild beautiful flowers, snow-capped mountains and a grand view of the Big Bear Lake. Nothing beats hiking at California on a cool summer day.

Matt and I hiked the Cougar Crest Trail on a Saturday afternoon. It was an easy trail to hike, and it's only 6.7 miles long. This trail is also kid-friendly and dog-friendly - and I sure wished that I brought my dog, Clyde. He would've loved it!

If you're headed down to California, be sure to stop by the Big Bear City. It has a lot of great outdoor activities for all ages.
