Welcome to my blog! My name is Margareth and I'm a 25-year-old travel and lifestyle blogger from Las Vegas, Nevada. I live for outdoor adventures, stunning architecture, gorgeous beaches, and rooftop bars. Whenever I get a chance to explore more, I go. Whether it’d be the closest trail near me or somewhere far far away, I roam.
If you’re looking for mind-blowing escapes, money-saving tips, local city guides, or vacation outfit ideas, this site is for you! Happy Roaming!
Traveling to London has been on my to-do list for a long time. The city’s culture, architecture, fashion, and their love for tea had always fascinated me. I was even thinking about moving there for college. Crazy, right? There were so many things I wanted to see and do, but my days in the city were very short.
When I heard Key Biscayne was listed to be one of the top beaches in America, I had to see it for myself. There’s nothing better than topping off a weekend in Miami than relaxing on a white sandy beach or swimming in a calm ocean. Luckily for me, I had a few hours to spare before my flight back home.
South Beach, Miami has been on the top of my travel bucket list for quite some time now. This city boasts with world-class beaches, great cuisine, and vibrant retro architecture. So, when I was given the chance to visit Miami, I was determined to have a perfect day in South Beach, aka “SoBe.”
Have you ever been so in love with a city that you get a sense of urgency to move there within hours of arriving? Well, that's how I felt back in 2012 when I first stepped foot in Portland, Oregon. Upon visiting this eclectic city again last month, I was reminded of all the good things about Portland: great breweries, extraordinary artwork, exceptionally healthy restaurants (and bars) and forested scenic views.
Traveling from Las Vegas to Yosemite National Park had many ups and downs. The car ride was eight hours long yet it was quite satisfying. I was greeted with a stunning scenery of Death Valley National Park and Sierra National Forest.
California is one of my favorite places to visit during the summer. There’s nothing better than walking along the sandy beaches, exploring the great outdoors and eating fresh seafood. For 4th of July weekend, Matt and I headed down to San Diego, California. We had the most amazing time hiking to Potato Chip Rock, eating delicious seafood, and paddle boarding in the bay.
Hiking in the heat is probably the last thing Vegas locals want to do in the summer. To stay cool, people often stay indoors, whether it’d be their homes, restaurants or one of the casinos in the Las Vegas valley. But my boyfriend, Matt, and I had something else in mind. We decided to venture off to the chilliest mountain in Clark County, Nevada – Charleston Peak.
Backpacking to Havasupai is one journey I’ll never forget. I spent three days climbing up and down the red sandy hills of the Grand Canyon, swimming in the blue-green water of the Havasu Creek and hanging out with 23 awesome individuals.
I have been itching to see the magical falls of Havasupai since last year. When I got invited by a fellow adventurer, I gladly said YES
To avoid Black Friday’s commercial madness, a group of adventurers and I decided to participate in REI’s #OptOutside mission - to inspire others to live an adventurous life.
Life truly felt B-E-A-U-tiful on September 25th, 2015. Downtown, Las Vegas hosted its 3rd annual art and music festival, Life is Beautiful - and it was incredible. The event featured 18 blocks of street art installations, delicious foods and grand stages.
